The Durham Sunday Football League is affiliated to the Durham County Football Association and was established in 1967 since then the league has grown in stature and reputation and we now have a five division structure consisting of a total 66 member clubs, as well as the Divisions the League also has the Following Competitions in the League, The League Cup, Knockout League Cup, The Alan Smith Memorial Trophy, The President’s Trophy, The Cup Winners Cup and The Guards Cup. The League is a Charter Standard League awarded to the League by The Football Association In 2010, all Clubs that play in the League Must be Charter Standard Clubs. The area covered by the Competition Membership is South of the River Tyne and North of the River Tees. This site is largely here to benefit member clubs but is also a great source of information for visitors. Graham Lilley Leagues Officers League President Name: - Stephen Johnson Stephen has been involved in Grassroots’ football for decades, having played in the League for Many years for Peterlee Catholic Club. The last couple of seasons have seen him taken on the Presidents role in the League, to which he brings his own unique style and personality. His skills coupled with his ability to tell a joke or two make him a great face of the Durham Sunday Football League. Stephen has also been a sponsor of the League through his company Stepys Coaches. The League Management Committee Representatives are independent or club officials or represent an organisation within the league. They are elected yearly at the league’s Annual General Meeting. The league rules allow 12 elected members of the League Management Committee each season. Each member has the right to attend and vote at all League Management Meetings, and as such have the power to apply, act upon and enforce the league rules. Failure to attend three meetings in a row could result in removal from the Management Committee

The League Management Committee will meet monthly at Soccereena Belmont. The meeting to commence at 7-00pm
League Meetings
Clubs will meet at Durham City AFC Belmont in August, October and March each season. The meeting to commence at 8-00pm. It is compulsory for every Club to be represented
Annual General Meeting
Clubs will meet at a venue nominated by the League Management Committee in June each season. The meeting to commence at 8-00pm
