Tyson popped up with two goals in the second half and coupled a commanding defensive performance meant Easy Street remained unbeaten. After beating Burnopfield in the last round, Easy were looking to add another Premier League scalp to their name. Played in the shadows of the Stadium of Light Hylton started the stronger and showed their Premier League class by going 2-0 up in the first 15 minutes, with some poor defensive work to blame. But Allen Robson gave Easy some hope minutes later with a great finish from an acute angle. Some poor defensive work again cost Easy Street dear as Hylton scored a third on the break although their lead was very undeserved. Another ray of light came just before half time when David Cowan, who had missed two good chances earlier on, made it third time lucky as he coolly slotted the ball past the Hylton goalkeeper after a delicate ball was slipped through by Mickle. The half time whistle blew and Easy knew that goal had given them the ascendancy and Manager Dalkins half time words payed instant dividends as Easy drew level 13 seconds after the kick-off. Mickle beat three players before playing a neat one-two with Damien Baston and slotting the ball underneath the goalkeeper. The tall striker who has bagged 22 goals this season was causing all sorts of problems for the Hylton defence with his pace. It was his shot that led to the corner in which Baston scored directly from. Some misjudgement from the Hylton goalkeeper meant the ball sailed into the far right hand corner and gave Easy a 4-3 lead. Glen Taylor then had a header ruled out for offside before Tyson popped up the powerfully head home another Baston corner at the near post. Bastons corners were causing all sorts of problems and Tyson was on the score sheet again as another corner from the left was headed down by the sub Evans and Tyson poked home at the near post. The game was now Easy's and Mickle crowned off his and the teams performance with a sublime finish. A ball from Stephen Marriott was flicked on by a Hylton defender and Mickle swivelled to strike the ball on the volley with his left foot from 25 yards and sent it flying across goal and into the far right corner.
