Cricket Club entertained Middlestone Moor from the
Spennymoor Sunday League. A good all round team
performance from Burnmoor with the Home side 3

smith fired home from close range with a superb
headed goal, following a cross from David woods. 5

good work from Tom Spurling led to an offence in the
box, and with a tremendous right footed shot Paul

In the Durham County Football Association Sunday Cup a Game Held over due to Kelloe Wmc involment in the FA Sunday Cup, Kelloe entertained Chester Waldridge Park , Kelloe winning 5-2.
In the Alan Smith Memorial Trophy sponsored by Castle Insurance 2nd Round Lumley Fc entertained New Durham wmc at Lumley, Both sides were evenly matched Until the last 10 Mins of the game when the Stronger Lumley side Broke the deadlock Gary Jackson Firing Home , Lumley Fc comfortably hung on to the 1-0 victory. In the Third Round of the Competition Holders Hetton Lyons Cricket Club were 10-2 Home winners Over Sedgefield Black Lion.

In the JD Taxis Trophy 1st Round Chester Easy Street lost their first match of the season with an abysmal performance against Washington JFC.After a great victory last week against Sunderland Sunday League Premier League side Hylton Castle , Easy Street were looking for another cup scalp. Easy Street started well with top scorer Craig Mickle having a glorious chance to put the home side ahead but the Washington goalkeeper made a fine save. But Washington started to gain a foothold in the game from then on and should have had a few goals before half time only for poor finishing from their strikers. The second half came and Easy Street took a surprise lead early on. Some good work by influential midfielder Allen Robson set up Mickle who laid the ball into the path of David Cowan who smashed the ball home. But Easy Street couldn't build on that and lost the lead soon after with the Washington midfielder poke the ball home. Then some weak defending down the left allowed Washington to go further ahead. Easy street made a Double Substitution with Glen Taylor and Jak Penny replaced by David Hope and Paul Corlett but the change to 3-5-2 didn't pay dividends with Easy Street losing shape and cover on the right hand side of defence with Chris Greener and David Tyson again getting caught by the Washington who added a Further Goal. A defensive mix up in the Easy street Penalty area allowed the Washington to add a Further Goal, Washington 's fourth of the game. The final whistle couldn't come quick enough for Easy Street who tasted defeat for the first time in 14 games.
In the Deerness Driveways Trophy 1st Round Chester Osborne Wmc travelled to play Durham Bede Lodge Social. The Osborne continued their recent run of form with a two nil win many chances went astray for the Osborne during the first half and unlucky to have a header ruled out for off side just before the half time whistle. The hard work paid off on the second half Andrew Willcock latching on to a Wes Hood pass, Chris days made it two with a solo effort shooting from 20 yards out and under the body of the bede lodge goal keeper.
In the Premier Division Pelton Roab Travelled to Houghton to play the Glendale Social Pelton Took the Lead on 43 min Luke Kerry fired Home from a tight angle, after a teasing cross from Neil Johnson .Glendale levelled the scores but the Visitors went further ahead in the 68 min - Neil Johnson Firing in a Superb drive from 25 yards, after good play from Sean Mansfield
In the 1st Division Sacriston WMC 's Gary Varty scored all three goals in a well deserved 3-1win away at Houghton Mill All Stars.Varty headed home the first before Mill's Gary Adey netted a fine equaliser following a neat one-two with David Hall. On the stroke of half time Mill's James Cattell gave away a penalty kick and was duly booked for dissent - Varty fired the spot kick low into the corner of the net although Mill keeper Dan Pearson was unlucky not to save it. Midway through the second half a Varty twenty yard screamer gave him his hat trick. Ten minutes from time Cattell received his marching orders after being cautioned for a second time and in the dying moments of the game Mill's Steve Fenn and David Hall both struck the woodwork but Sacriston ran out worthy winners.Gilesgate Moor Hotel were 3-0 winners at Birtley Board Inn.
In the Second Division the Steelers Entertained West Rainton Fc It was good 5-2 victory for the The Steelers. The score line looks pretty convincing but this game could have been a different kettle of fish had it not been for Steelers Keeper Hightower whose heroic efforts in the first 5 minutes. He saved 3 point blank shots to keep the score sheet clean. Top Man for the Steelers was Stephen Clifford scoring 4 of the Steelers Goals. And Jamie Clifford add in the Fifth. Chester Plough Inn Crashed to a 3-1 Defeat at Ushaw Moor Cricket Club. Bishop Middleham Cross Keys were 6-0 winners at Pittington Fc, In the Third Division Pelaw Grange Dogs Travelled to Washington to play the Victoria Inn .
This was a brisk game with the game going from end to end. A volley from Washington hit the bar and after 20 minutes they went ahead from a disputed offside goal after Pelaw had been pulled up at the other end for offside. However this didn't dent Pelaw Grange Dogs resolve and they were a much more competitive side from the week before. on about 35 minutes the ball was put over the top as both Pelaws strikers were walking back on side and David Fleming ran through onto the ball to lob it over the advancing Washington keeper to make it 1-1 all at half time.
The second half saw both teams up the pace of the Game and saw Pelaw Grange Dogs Fc go close with a shot from Mark Stevenson that just curled above the bar. A tired David Fleming was substituted before the end with Chris Hawkins coming on. Previous to this Washington had brought two substitutes on and again hit the bar and again headed onto the bar but it all ended 1-1. Sedgefield Net Park Travelled to Washington Usworth Top Club and returned Home with a Share of the Points in a 2-2 Draw Thanks to Goals from Phil Taylorson and Steve Bagshaw.Houghton Chilton Lodge were 5-0 Home winners Over Ferryhill Dynamoes.East Rainton beat Hetton Social 4-1.
